Classic, but squeaky!

I've had so many pairs of 574s over the years. The most comfortable and longest lasting shoe I've owned. The new "Black Cement with Slate Grey" have some kind of vinyl tongue that is squeaks with each step... I'm kind of disappointed by this. Anyone that tested this shoe would have noticed this. I am currently debating on sending them back for this one pretty annoying problem. I don't think it is something that will just 'break in'. The rating would have been all 5s if not for the squeak...

Love these shoes! My only wish is that all New Balance shoes came in wide width sizes. Those of us with wide feet want to add a little flair to our shoe collection too.

Not the same tongue

The new tongue in these are awful compared to the older models. They squeak like crazy and I absolutely can't stand them.

Happy shoper

I've been wanting a pair of shoes in this color scheme, but hadn't seen many I liked in stores. I found these on the website and bought them immediately lol. Couldn't be happier with the fit and finish on these.

Very comfortable, fun color

Soooo comfortable as usual and the fun color really adds the panache. I expected more brightness but it’s a bit more muted/ Matte suede. But I actually like it too.
