Great shoe, runs small

I have an older pair of 574s that I was looking to replace. Because my feet have changed a bit due to aging I ordered a half size up for a bit more room, but found the half size larger to fit smaller than the shoes I already own. I ordered a women's US12 wide which shows on the size chart as 29cm/Eu44, but the insole was just a smidge shorter than my existing pair measuring 28.5cm/US10.5 men's. I wish there was some consistency in sizing. I'll have to re-order and Hope going a full size larger will fit properly.
