Sleeves too short

Purchased this dress in red and I loved it! It's cute, sexy, and looks nice, except that the sleeves are too short! Being that the material is ribbed and thicker, sliding my sleeves up to cover the shortness is not an option. Everything else looked fabulous but my eyes kept reverting back to the short sleeves that were way above my wrist, not below like the picture indicates. Therefore, unfortunately I had to return the item as I would have not worn the dress like that.
