Gold finish is rubbing off

I love the look of this watch. I received it as a gift last Christmas (7.5 months ago). I wear it 3-4 times a week, and the gold finish is already wearing off. I’m quite disappointed that a watch that a) I like so much and b) was not inexpensive has dulled so quickly. I would think MK would be higher quality than this.

Discolored links

Sadly disappointed in this beautiful watch because of the links showing discoloration as I was putting it on for my second wearing. This is not the quality I am expecting with Michael Kors products. I can’t recommend it to others.
