Great Primer

Laura Mercier is one of my favorite primers. It does do a good job covering imperfections and making your skin look good. The only issue is the product came in 1.7 oz and now it’s only 1 oz but the same price. Very disappointing. I amprimer because of the price change

Meh!

I had high hopes for this but honestly it was just ok. Received a sample so I’m pleased I didn’t buy a full size one. It felt nice on application, I left it absorb into my skin properly before applying foundation. I didn’t find it as glowy as I expected and also, it definitely didn’t help with the longevity of my make up. There was nothing unpleasant about it but I just wasn’t wowed and for the price, I think you can buy better.

Foundation piled

I’m sad to say this is one Laura Mercier product that doesn’t agree with me. Every time I used this my foundation piled, and it looked awful. I tried with various foundation brands and the same thing happened, but when I used other primers it was fine. I’m not sure why this didn’t work for me but sadly this is something I would repurchase.

Illuminating primer

I’ve been using Laura Mercier’s illuminating primer for years. This seems to be a newly packaged and new version of their previous primer. It is lighter and a more subtle highlight than the previous version. I like this version but I preferred the previous one which had a greater impact. . My favourite was the tanning illuminator which I’d love them to bring back!
