A 5 ⭐️ shoe, but sadly, not for me
These shoes are beautiful and very well made. You can see the care that went into making them from the moment you lift the shoebox lid; there are two really nice flannel shoe bags inside (one for each shoe), a cute sticker (or two), a flower clip, a little drawstring cloth bag with an extra pair of heel taps, and that’s before you even open the tissue paper to reveal these exquisite slingbacks. Alas, I had to return these darling shoes. I am blessed (cursed!) with very narrow heels, and the straps did not hold the back of the shoes snugly enough onto my feet. Tightening the straps a notch pushed my feet too far forward into the fronts of the shoes, making them decidedly uncomfortable (whereas they weren’t at the middle notch, which is wear most people would likely wear them). So, with much regret, I returned them, but still feel they are deserving of 5 ⭐️’s.
