Absolutely beautiful BUT....

Let me begin by saying this is an absolutely exquisitely crafted piece of jewelry...beautifully designed, heavy and obviously of extraordinary quality. I gel compliments every time I wear it. It can be worn both for special occasions and casually and I love this versatility. I have one HUGE criticism of this piece -- both the chain and the clasp are constantly getting entangled in my hair...to the extent that I need to cut pieces of my hair in order to remove the necklace! The way the chain is shaped/texturized is problematic. I will add that I have very fine hair that hits between my chin and my shoulder so perhaps this is a non-issue when worn with longer or shorter and / or coarser hair or if you are wearing your hair up. That said, it is completely distracting (and very painful!) when I wear this piece and my hair gets caught. I can't turn my head. So, just be forewarned of this potential issue if you purchase.
