Poor Quality + Execution

I was so excited to try this jacket. The color and fit looked fabulous in the photos. Upon receiving, I was really disappointed. First, the packaging wasn’t great—tightly folded and with a cheap, flimsy hanger and plastic Bloomingdale’s garment bag. The jacket was very wrinkled. I would have expected more for the price (disclosure: I did buy it on sale but that shouldn’t matter, imo). A couple of the (cheap looking) buttons were already loose and the wool just wasn’t the quality I was expecting. It’s not very soft. The placement of the pockets and belt is poorly executed as well. If you cinch the belt it makes the pockets flaps stick out, which really messes with a streamlined look. And there were other small details that were overlooked (like where the button holes were cut (you could see white where they’d been cut)) that I just wouldn’t expect to see in a $1200 jacket. The color of the wool and lining are fabulous but that’s where the praise stops. I will likely not buy this brand again.
