Exceptional

I cannot get over how amazing this cleanser is. It smells phenomenal, and gently cleans. I love this product. It feels like a luxury experience every time I wash my face.

Amazing Product - Not so amazing packaging

Ive been using this product for close to 20 years, it's amazing, literally the best cleanser ever. I was in a panic when it seem to be out of stock everywhere, and thankfully I had a spare bottle. I am hoping that they have redesigned the packaging, 2 pumps for a face was should be one longer pump, also the biggest issue is the cap. It does not fit, does not stay on and generally hits the bathroom floor. Forget traveling with the bottle as it will spill because the top will not stay on! Please La Mer customer service gurus fix this!!!

Great juice (product), poor packaging

Firstly - the good stuff, the product itself is lovely. It has a nice thin to medium gel consistency, has a lovely light but fresh scent and it doesn't leave my skin tight in anyway, it doesn't create a bubbly lather, it's more milky like a micro foam. At the end of the day it's nothing special, you can find something the same from any other brand be them luxury or from the drugstore for much cheaper but I love the experience of using la mer in my daily skin care routine so I may as well have a cleanser from the line that I enjoy too to make my routine more focused on the brand I love. Finally, my reasoning for a 3 star review (going to get those silly little defensive la mer people finding this review as "unhelpful" because I dare give constructive criticism lol). It's the packaging, the main component is plastic which I actually like, it's nice and sturdy and can be kept in the shower without the risk of it falling over and becoming a hazard... the same cannot be said for the cap, it's cheap plastic that can easily shatter but above all it does NOT attach correctly to the main component. If you move it too quickly it comes flying off across the bathroom and is incredibly annoying, it should click in firmly so that it's easy to travel with without worrying about it falling off and leaking product everywhere. We all know la mer is a luxury line for people or all budgets, £85 for a cleanser should be perfection from the formula (as mentioned the formula is really lovely) down to the smallest detail of the packaging, this is enough for me to hold of repurchasing until they bring out the new packaging which I was informed of at both my regular la mer counters. Another aspect but possibly a personal preference, you need two pumps of this cleanser to have enough slip to cleanse, one is not enough in my opinion. They should make it so when you press the pump it provides sufficient product for one application. I hope you take on this feedback, La Mer team, Jake

Best cleanser

Best cleanser I have ever used. For first time there is no redness on my checks. I can say the same thing for my other La Mer products. Now I can see my blushes without my redness coming through.

Great!

The best cleanser I have ever used! It's a little pricey but is definitely worth it. I try to purchase it when Macy has their Friends and Family sale. It has even lightened my age spots on my face.

Love LaMer, but this product smell and taste bad if you get some in your mouth while washing. Returned mine.

Great cleansing gel

For me this is a great cleansing gel. It`s very easy to use and wash off, it cleanse my skin very good, but doesn`t make it dry. It`s very good for oily and combination skin and also for men skin. The smell is very nice and you don`t need much, so it will last for a long time.
