original version is better

I have used this face cleanser for several years and have (obviously) been very satisfied. A small dollop goes a long way, it lathers up perfectly and is very gentle on my older, dry skin. I also like that it rinses off very well. Please note that I am reviewing the original Cleansing Foam. I am sad to notice, that La Mer has changed this formula and are now calling it "The Essence Foaming Cleanser"-I tried and do not like at all- It's slimy and doesnt rinse off well.

A lovely cleansing foam

Received this as a tester sample and really enjoyed using this cleansing foam. It has lovely scent, but not too overpowering. Face feels fresh and clean after washing. Would definitely recommend this product to others and will consider buying a full size product in the future.

Effective, yet still gentle

Received this as a sample, it’s has a really nice texture to the product, creates a bubbly, foamy, rich lather whilst effectively cleanses the skin without making my skin feel tight or dry, would definitely recommend for people who may have sensitive skin as it’s light weight and also smells good. Five star product.

Brilliant gentle cleanser

Got to experience this recently as part of a few sample with an order and it was easily the top pick from the selection. Have enjoyed products from this brand before. Lovely gentle foaming cleanser which does the trick. Will buy the full size once back in stock.

Gentle cleansing

I recieved this cleanser has sample was a,bit worrying that it would be to drying for my skin but to my surprise my skin suit it perfectly my skin is very dry and mature I highly recommend this cleanser extremely gentle top marks for la mer I will get a full sisizenext time
