Expected Better
I got this at a fund-raiser. My previous food processor (cuisinart—9C), still operated fine but the lock mechanism with the bowl had broken off. This Kitchen Aid machine is a big disappointment. Clunky. Unlocks too easily. The base is too light and jumps around when running. The on-off pads don’t always respond. If I had bought this rather than acquire it at a fund-raiser, I would have returned it.

Happy with 11 cup food processor. Has a wide mouth which I was looking for & runs very quiet.

Great food processor!
Bought as a replacement for a much cheaper unit. Incredibly smooth and quiet. Very nice selection of accessories for various operations. Quality in the name!

Good, for the most part
The chopping feature works well. The shredding feature not so much. The shredded food accumulates in one place and it is annoying to have to open it up so frequently to redistribute the food as well as what gets trapped between the lid and shredder.

Great processor
I love the size, strength of this food processor. It does everything I need in the kitchen, slicing, shredding, chopping, making pie dough easy and shredding cabbage for saur kraut.
