    Sacred Wood is a portrait of pure sandalwood paying homage to the highly sought-after Mysore variety. A scented creation with spicy, woodsy and milky facets that engulf all the senses.

    Created by perfumer Calice Becker, the woodsy fragrance opens with ambrette seed absolute and carrot seed essence for spicy and earthen elements, only to unfold into a multi-layered sandalwood accord with Atlas cedarwood oil sourced in Morocco and amyris oil from the Dominican Republic. Copaiba balsam oil adds warmth with an animalic aspect of apricot. A malted milky vapor rises like incense, for an exceptional and long-lasting sillage.

    A lot of attention is given to each Kilian Paris refillable perfume bottle to make it a precious object. The perfume bottles of The Cellars are adorned with a distinctive black lacquer and meticulously engraved on each side with the representation of the Achilles shield. As Kilian Hennessy says: "In perfumery, it is as much about seduction as it is about protection." A golden metal plate on which the name of the perfume is engraved by hand adds an extra touch of sophistication.

Good

Absolutely amazing in the beginning, woody and fresh. After a couple of hours wood was gone and it was not so great anymore. A good scent but nothing wow.
