    Only better with age, Old Fashioned is a new fragrance of heritage and sophistication inspired by the misty wooded moors of Scottish lore. The perfume transports directly to the Scottish Highlands, fireside inside a family estate, layered with generations, evoking only the purest, most excellent Scottish traditions. Old Fashioned is a fragrance from another era, a modern refinement in scent, a total take-over of the senses in a Scottish old-fashioned delight.

    From perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, the fragrance opens with wheat absolute and the slightly floral aspect of davana essence. It then leads into a complex of ultra-concentrated cedarwood essence and everlasting absolute, with long-lasting notes of styrax and Tolu balm to suggest aging wood barrels and refinement with time.

    The bottles of The Heritage Collection are trompe l'œil objects reminiscent of the Art Deco era. The weighted glass is engraved to throw and catch light at all angles and is finished with a golden, diamond-shaped plaque signed in white serigraphy. These details bring to Kilian Paris creations a guarantee of luxury that should not be ephemeral. As such, this perfume is refillable.

Great date night scent

Gifted by kilianparis This perfume reminds me of a warm cinnamon drink at a nice restaurant. It leans a little more on the sweet side, but still feels like the perfect romantic dinner scent. Definitely more of a date night fragrance than something I’d wear during the day. I do really like it though, and I love having perfumes like this in my collection for special occasions.
