Just Like Any Other Fake Tanner

I love all other Kiehl's products so I had some optimism purchasing this. However, it is just like any other fake tanner. The color has a noticeable orange tinge and you need to apply several coats in order to get a dark color. I did like how naturally it faded but the texture was very strange. It was hard to tell where I had already put it on because it absorbed so quickly and has no color. This is just like any other fake tanner but more "natural" and expensive. Not worth the price! DO NOT BUY!

MY GO TO

I use this on my face during the winter time to get a sun kissed look! Love how lightweight it is and doesn't smell like a self tanner. I have tried so many tanners and this is by far the one I keep coming back to!

surprised by how not special this was. smelled strongly all day like self tanner, looked no different than using cheap self tanner from any drug store.

Very natural

I've been using this product for 2.5 years and I can't imagine how anyone could apply this product and get orange results or streaks. You apply it like you apply body lotion. Pour Some into the palm of your hand and rub it in circles to blend it in. It is a very natural tan color. The smell is almost nonexistent and what is noticeable is pleasant. I found out this product by my Co-Chair for the Gala we ran the year before last because she said it is well known to give a golden tan without the fake spray tan look. She was so right! Now most of my friends are using it before big social events because it's so natural looking. (I'm naturally a pretty pale skinned person with freckles-English/Irish ancestory) I DID NOT receive a free sample of the sunless tanner.

Do Not Buy

This is awful. It's very orange and very streaky no matter how well it's applied

Followed all the rules, exfoliate, waited 45 minutes to hour to dress and still had streaks. With someone as fair as me this is too dark. Left on vacation with streaks. Loved the fact that it didn't smell bad. Love khiels products but I have to say this one didn't work. Too bad. There's always jergens.

Excellent & nstural

Just remember to wash your hands after using. I also recommend wiping ankles & heels with wet washcloth so you don't get build-up.

Holy Grail

Tried em all, this one takes the cake for color, texture, lack of small and does not break my face out. I would compare this to KaterSomverville's self tanning pads that are suuuuuper expensive but give that "glow" not tanned look with just a hint of color. Hands down winner. Made a faithful customer of me with this product in just a few days. The hunt is over!!
