Handle detaches pretty quickly and can’t be fixed

Handle becomes loose over time (less than a year of daily use). It looks like you can screw it back in but the entire screw box works itself loose and cannot be tightened to the kettle. It has become a safety issue-we are afraid it will detach completely when lifting a hot kettle so we are discarding. Additionally, the whistle is too quiet (cant be heard from the next room) and does not work unless you push it closed (latch doesn’t lower it enough). It’s too bad because the size and colors are great.

Good looking but interior coating is peeling

I love the design so much! However, I would not purchase this item for some reasons. The interior coating started to get rusted and peel off within half a year of use. I use 1-2 times a week. Also, the kettle handle and the lids are made of metal, which might get your hands scalded.

Kate Spade Tea Kettle

I love the Kate Spade Tea Kettle. I use it every morning. It is adorable and functional. The little whistle lets me know when the water is ready while I am busy with other morning things.

It’s the little things

I absolutely love my new tea kettle. It’s so much better than using a sauce pan to boil water. Great quality, it’s pretty y, and Kate Spade on top of that! Great purchase!

Rusting inside

I initially loved this adorable tea kettle. But was disappointed to see that it's been rusting inside. I even dry it out between uses. Not sure how long I've been pouring out rusty water, but I'll have to try to return it. Such a shame because the design and pattern are really great.

Very cute tea kettle

Love this Kate Spade collection. It blends well in my kitchen. I had been looking for cream/ivory kitchen accessories for a while and these are beautiful. The tea kettle is very cute, but I have to admit I still haven’t used it because right now I am more interested in the look, more than I am in getting it rusty ( I read some of the other reviews lol) Maybe over the next few months I’ll start using it and see how it hold up, but for right now, I just want to look at it, and admire it’s beauty.
