Simple solution???
I have Jam Hang Up & had problems charging. The thing just would go off even after I charged it overnight. I see that many people complain about the Hang Up not holding a charge, not turning on. THE SIMPLE SOLUTION: I went back and looked at Instructions. It is in pictures with no words! I believe they mis-marked the charging port- it is not the one what hold the charging cord. You have to open the covered port and use that to charge the battery. PROBLEM SOLVED!! Jam fix your instructions, they are either wrong, misleading or confusing you clients and costing you. I hope i saved you money and reputation, and help other buyers. I like my Hang UP and my Hang Around.

Skipping after using it maybe 10 times
Loved when I first got it but now warranty is over and it’s skipping. I only use it at beach so i haven’t used it more than 10 times because of co I’d last year :-(

I strongly do not recommend buying the speaker it worked for me three times and that's it. None of the troubleshooting online has been able to fix it. It is connected but won't play. Pretty much a waste of money just really disappointed.

Don’t do it!!!
Don’t do it! Don’t be tricked by the cute sleek durable outside of this device. Talk about disappointed!!! Mine lasted one round of listening, won’t recharge (yes we did everything they say to do on the internet and if you search “problems with my JAM speaker” you’ll find tons of the same issue) and there’s no real support for getting it fixed. The red light just stays on and when you try pairing it nothing happens so clearly it’s not charged. Some even say to replace the battery which I’m not sure can even be done on this version? I have other portable speakers of lesser durability that actually work. So that being said I wish I hadn’t wasted the money on this one. Mine is still new. Only used for one afternoon! If the company wants to replace it feel free. You might actually learn what the mistake is in its production and make some buyers really happy!

Received as a gift for Christmas and it NEVER worked. I charged it for the appropriate time and the red light stayed on, never connecting to my iPhone. It's not worth my time to replace the battery so it'll be going to the Electronic Landfill.

Sure whatever
I bought this last week and the audios pretty good. But no matter how dry your surface is, this speaker can’t go 5 minutes without falling off. Even though the speaker is waterproof, when a layer of water is on the speaker (showers for instance), the audio gets muffled so you’ll have to turn the volume up a bit more. I gave it a 3 star because out of water it’s fine, but in the shower it’s pretty sucky.
