Darker brown than pictures

I really wanted to love these pants, but I just like them. They are much more brown than the pictures show, more of a mud brown. They also run a bit big. Overall not worth the price, even on sale.

Boring fit. Color is darker & muddy.

Nothing great to say about these. Just average. They run a bit large and are straight dark brown and muddy, like milk chocolate. There isn't any reddish-orange or copper tones in them like the photo or what would be associated with tobacco. I am 44, 5' 5" and have a 30" inseem, weigh 155. I'm a triathlete and yogi and wear a 28, 29 in FRAME, Hudson, 7, and a 6 or 8 in Theory. So I went with the 29 in the leather thinking they would be snug like most leather and they were HUGE on me so I'm thinking they're meant to be more of an office slack type of cut. Overall - A perfectly nice pant. Just average. Not much style. Incorrect color and runs a little big.

Great features

I bought the pants on "Thanksgiving Eve" and I am so glad that I did. The pants are super comfortable and a welcome change from the yoga pants that I have been wearing nonstop during this COVID-19 Pandemic!

J Brand is the best in leather

I found these pants run true to size, at least in the waist. Legs fit tightly and even though they call these pants, they're really more like a legging. They do not have the side zipper near the ankle like other J Brand leather which makes it more difficult to pull on and off. The color used to describe these is Tobacco and from the picture, I thought they would be lighter in color. They are actually very dark, brown even. Even though these fit well, I returned them because I am looking for more of a camel colored leather and a pant, not a legging with the zipper on the side.
