HOKAWomen's Mach 6 Low Top Sneakers
Product Details
Web ID: 5261239Toe box is too narrow
I loved the Mach 4s for daily runs and light speed work, so I thought the Mach 6 would be great too. Unfortunately the redesign did not work for me. The toe box is significantly narrower compared to the Mach 4. Still cushy and responsive with a decent rocker but the cramped toe box cause me to shelve them with less than 100 miles of wear.

Over cushioning causes all weight to go to Achilles/Tendons
They are very comfortable when trying on but when running it kills your Achilles/Ligaments/Tendons. Running shoes are getting to caught up in softness of soles. Your brain cant differentiate the steps and instead of putting pressure on the bottom of your foot it goes straight to your Achilles Tendons and Ligaments/calfs. Dont be dooped these shoes suck when running and are to soft.

No need to settle for a disappointing fit. The Mach 6 is designed with a low-to-the-ground, responsive ride, but if it doesn’t align with your stride, start your exchange here: bit.ly/HOKAEXRT and see how the Rincon 4 performs for you.
Good Running Shoes, But...
I've heard lots of good things about Hoka. Some years ago, I used a pair of Hokas for marathon training, although I forget which model I wore. These Mach 6 Hoka running shoes are pretty nice. They are made well and don't feel cheap. There is plenty of cushion and I like the minimal arch support. However, the Mach 6 is incredibly narrow. The toe area points like a cowboy boot, and it's very uncomfortable for my toes. I have to return these because they crush my toes, even in the right size. If I size up, they'd be too long and clumsy for distance runs.

Overall very flexible
Mainly used in gym for cardio work outs. The 10 2EE actually feels more narrow than my other HOKA purchases that are also 10 2EE

Second time is the charm
My first experience with Hoka was an uncomfortable fit, but this time it's right on.

Inconsistent Sizing
I've been a dedicated fan of the Hoka Mach series for several years, wearing nothing else for my runs. I currently have six pairs in my garage, all in size 10.5, but frustratingly, each one fits differently. Some have a spacious toe box, while others feel uncomfortably tight. A few pairs run long, but the newer models seem noticeably shorter. After my most recent purchase, I've decided it's time to switch to a different shoe—the sizing inconsistency is just too unreliable and aggravating.
