Smaller length than described

Description says this necklace is 17”. The necklace including ring and toggle are 15”. Love the necklace but what a disappointment. Too tight around neck. Was so excited for this.

Checked Gucci site and they have options to buy three different lengths (s m or l).  Clearly Bloomingdale’s wasn’t clear about that on their site.
