This candle totally reeks. I would accept a fragrance that was only mildly pleasing but this was so unpleasant that I had to scrap the 380g candle and buy something else, despite the high cost. I was in Manhattan 1 month ago and it doesn’t smell like this candle.

Delicious scent
I gave this candle to a friend for her bday and she absolutely loved it. She said every time she walked into the room she couldn’t get enough of the fragrance. Kept thanking me for the gift ..

Classy scent
Very strong scent which I love! Fills up the whole room! Some of the Glasshouse candles are not as fragrant but this one definitely is! Fresh clean scent burns nicely too

New favourite & Crowd Pleaser
Absolutely love this candle. I was gifted this candle and it isn’t my normal go-to scent but this has easily become my new favourite and will definitely buy again. It has long lasting scent and even have had friends comment on how nice the house has smelt when lit.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT!!! BRING BACK LITTLE BLACK DRESS
The little black dress used to be my favourite, it was also the ONLY candle that my Dad actually liked as well, in fact he ASKED for the Little Black Dress candles as Christmas presents. I understand you changed to soy, but why has the WHOLE fragrance of the candle changed. And don't say it's the same Orchids and Blood Orange, there are obviously plenty of other reviews underneath of people who feel the same. Your development team needs to actually take the feedback on board, nobody is enjoying this 'I'll Take Manhattan' version. Go back to the drawing board because you did NOT nail it.

Candle has changed
The candle has changed from its original black waxed version. This new candle takes longer for the scent to spread out and more annoyingly, it doesn't burn as cleanly as it used to. It's like the wicks aren't big enough, and I need to wrap the top with foil to make sure that it melts all the way around, even if I keep the candle burning for at least 4 hours.

There are a number of factors that may contribute to a tunnelling candle, which thus in turn can affect the fragrance throw. I tried my hardest to like it but it’s just not the same as the original.
Honestly, I’ve tried this candle out. The first one that I bought had almost no scent. The glasshouse team sent out another which was fragranced quite heavily like glasshouse candles should be. The only problem is this smells like someone trying to make a cheap version of the original little black dress candle. This one has an overwhelming scent of wet grass mixed in with bits and pieces of LBD. I used to buy LBD continuously after they would burn out but I’ve not purchased another I’ll Take Manhattan since this first one.

Bring back the old LBD
I've been saving an original black candle and diffuser from 2019, and every now and then I smell them in the box and they are AMAZING. Sadly, the new scent is nothing like the original. Please take note of your reviews and bring back the original Little Black Dress.
