Oh my God run so huge

So so ever strange I love these pants so much I was up Bloomingdale’s. I tried them on in a size 27. They were a tiny bit big so I said OK I’ll get the 26th. They did not have them so I ordered them online. I received them today oh my God, the 26th inch is as I measured the waist lying flat they 16” so are like equivalent to a size 32. I can’t believe this so strange ! Now I have to go to Bloomingdale’s and then return these now and buy the 27

It's a beautiful pair of barrel jeans with a faded leopard print.Unfortunately I wore it only two times because it gives me a serious wedgie. It's more of a mod to low ride which I personally don't like. I lost my return window so now I'm stuck with it.
