Difficulty with reversing

The leather is high quality (and smells amazing), but the buckle is impossible to unlatch to reverse the belt. The packaging from Bloomingdale's also is not great, as it just came loose in a box, and not even a dustbag which made it hard to gift. However, Bloomingdale's shipping is wicked fast which I appreciate.
