Pretty but big on top

I’ve bought this as mother of the bride for a cocktail attire wedding. Such a pretty dress, great length, interesting look with the appliquéd flowers. The waist and length are perfect but the straps are too long and bust is extra roomy. Needs to be altered.

Matronly but beautiful

Fabric and fit are heavy, gorgeous, and quite perfect, but the deep navy combined with formidable straps and square back make this dress feel matronly, which is not the feel I was hoping for.
