Light up your wardrobe with the Lantern!
This is a GREAT dress. So comfy and flowy, but not bag light with the lantern pull in hem and top fits normal (no huge arm holes like many loose fitting dresses). It runs large 1-2 sizes large. Fabric is a great texture and classy as always with Eileen Fisher. Pockets--real pockets not tiny slit things. Love it's over the knee but not super long. I've got it in 3 colors already and keeping eye out for others. Check the fabric as it comes in a linen and crinkled cotton--both are awesome just depends on your fabric preference though the crinkled cotton may wrinkle less, travel better.

Effortless Perfection
I purchased this linen dress in the Graphite color. I love the pockets and gathered detail around the hem. I've worn it as is or with a sweater over the top. I think it will look great with a short sleeve collar blouse under it for a jumper sort of look too.

Great addition to the wardrobe
Fabulous dress! The cut is very flattering, and the fabric is nice and thick. This will work for summer and autumn. I liked it so much, I ordered it in another color. Definitely size down, though. It runs a little large.

Tent Dress
Pros: Quality linen, heavier than shirt-weight linen. Different colors are mixed together to create a nice mottled effect. Nice fit in the bust in my regular size S. Armholes are well-sized, not racerback or oversized. Shoulders are placed close to the shoulders, enough to cover bra straps. Elastic hem, surprisingly, did not bother me, and even adds weight and interest to the dress. Pockets are placed forward of the side seam, which makes them blend into the dress and not add bulk on the sides. Cons: No bust darts or shaping seams, so dress hangs straight down from the largest part of the bust, creating a mumu shape, which is not flattering. Added to this, starting under the bust, the dress is an extreme A-line shape. I would call it a tent dress. Even if you have large hips or are pregnant, this will not be flattering, it's just so exaggerated. I would have to make a lot of adjustments in order to wear this dress, including adding shaping directly under the bust and also tapering the body about 8" in width in order to get rid of excess fabric.

Comfortable easy attractive
This dress is simple, comfortable, and has pockets! Neckline is feminine without being revealing, and shoulders/armholes cover everything you might want. I took a chance on the lantern hemline, and am a convert. It consists of a narrow piece of elastic stitched into the hemline, which helps the skirt of the dress to swing nicely, mitigates a sense of too much volume at the bottom of the dress, and creates an interesting shape overall. The bodice is close fitting, and the skirt is wider and swingy. I'm also very impressed with Bloomingdale's availability for Eileen Fisher items, sometimes better prices than the EF website, quite careful wrapping for shipping, and ease of buying and returns.
