A favorite purchase

Love the coat. Nice length, long sleeves. Very soft, very dark. Comfortable and definitely runs large. Order a size down unless you can handle a lot of coat.

Beautifully made! But..

I love this coat. It was beautifully made, and a deep Rich green. I love boiled wool as well!. I had bought a long sweater coat the same day when I bought this button-down. it is the middle of winter, and I had to return this coat because it was too lightweight, infact, the same warmth as the sweater coat. Had it been a heavier coat it would’ve been a keeper! I still gave it 5 stars Because if you’re looking for a lightweight relatively conservative coat, you would be quite pleased!

A Classic Keeper

I love the classic cut, “Ivy” color, and softness of this wonderfully light weight coat. I normally wear an XL or 16 in coats, but a MEDIUM in this coat did the trick (I originally ordered a large). I anticipate wearing this coat for many years through our increasing warmer winters.

Beautiful,High Quality Coat

This coat is gorgeous! It's a beautiful color (I got it in the green; I believe it's called "ivy"), warm, a great length, has a nice lining & the snaps are fairly easy to use. Negatives: Sometimes you have to literally look down at the snaps and place the male & female sides together. I also think it can use one more snap at the bottom. It is NOT a fitted look and runs very big. I got the XXS--I usually wear XS in Eileen Fisher--but could use an XXXS. But it's a classy looking piece that'll keep you warm while you're looking top notch!

Eileen Fisher Alpacha coat

It looks elegant. I usually wear size large and for coats X-Large but for this one the medium fits me.so consider it runs big.
