Luxurious treat for the hands
I was influenced by another review here that referenced Aesop - my usual go to. They said that it was a luxurious upgrade to the Aesop reverence and I could not look back. OH MY. The packaging alone is gorgeous, really solid heavy glass, excellent and refillable - sustainable - need you any further encouragement? It is so divine on the hands - silky yet exfoliating, with the most intoxicating smell. Not overpowering but you know this is no bog standard soap the second you lather. You feel bougie using it. I keep it hidden and only bring it out on the odd occasion to impress guests, the rest of the time it’s just for me. My Aseop has become average. Every day, and I save my hands for this decadent luxury. Treat yourself you will not be disappointed. The only thing to note is any other soap will never be the same again. They will be basic in comparison.

Luxury in a bottle
What's not to love about Diptyque - French elegance, luxurious purposeful products and a stunning glass container with all the swoon factor you and your guests will appreciate. Only if you decide to leave it in the guest loo! The subtle scent delicately perfumes your hands and gently cares for your skin. Added bonus the container is refillable and more sustainable. Yes you need to have the initial outlay but its well worth it so go ahead and treat yourself.

Hide it
It isn’t often I have to rugby tackle a guest but if they make so much as a gesture towards this hand wash they have to deal with the consequences. It’s so lovely. The scent! Oh my word, it’s intoxicating in the most alluring and soft way. Some handwash smells like it could strip paint but this one smells like it would buy you dinner and softly smooch you on a first date. Do not leave it out for guests - they can use the Carex.

Diptyque Softening Hand Wash has an amazing and unique scent that feels very luxurious and lingers for a while. I also love that you can re-buy the soap refill and reuse the bottle, which makes it both elegant and sustainable. A wonderful addition to any bathroom.

Love it!
I absolutely love my brand new softening hand wash, as my hands always smell amazing after using it. It was a brilliant birthday gift from a friend, and I will be definitely be giving it to others. It is expensive but it is definitely worth the money. I would repurchase, and recommend to a friend. I absolutely love the Diptyque brand!!!!!

Gorgeous house warming gift
I bought this for my sister as a house warming present. The packaging is really high quality and the soap comes in a glass bottle. The scent is so luxurious, a real crowd pleaser but still unique. It looks great in her bathroom and love that you can get refills.
