Classic now
This EDT captures an English garden scene with blackcurrant leaves, Bulgarian rose, and musk It feels fresh, elegant, and slightly nostalgic—a leisurely floral scent that’s refined, not overly sweet. The powdery rose note is softened by a green, leafy edge, creating a well-balanced, wearable profile . Perfect for daytime sophistication and those who appreciate gentle, natural florals. A timeless, beautifully composed fragrance.

Beautiful scent!
This is my second scent from this brand and it’s becoming a new firm favourite! The scents last all day and make for such a lovely all day scent. It’s a little more expensive than I would usually spend on a perfume but made for a lovely treat, I hope to buy more scents from this brand. I only wish it maybe lasted a little longer throughout the day, as I do stop noticing the scent after around 6 hours

So strange!
This is one of the strangest perfumes I have smelled! It smells exactly like a tomato garden, after rain, late in the afternoon in the summer. It is so fresh and nice I fell for it. I will be repurchasing it because it reminds me of my childhood in a way and I enjoy that a lot!

First diptyque scent that lasts on me
Love this
Beautiful Unique Fragrance
I tried L'Ombre Dans L'Eau through the discovery set I have. Diptyque's fragrances are so well crafted and luxurious each one being so unique. L'Ombre Dans L'Eau is a beautiful fragrance that's grown more on me as I've worn it but still feels maybe a little mature for me yet. I think I've just preferred a couple of the others more and gone on to buy them full size. This definitely captures an essence and is deeply aromatic.

botanical blackcurrant
For me this opens with a brief whiff of bergamot then we are straight into quite a realistic rendition of the blackcurrant bushes that grew in the side garden of my childhood. This to me is the smell of the living plant - the leaves more than anything else, with only a tinge of ripening fruit. Do I get any Bulgarian rose? No, just a general sweetly floral note, which reinforces the impression of the bushes in summer - the background scents of the rest of the garden flowers. It makes me remember the sensation of eating a warm ripe currant off the bush at the end of the summer. I find it an interesting experience, but not an everyday scent (it is not really my ambition to smell like a blackcurrant bush), but I enjoy it now and then.
