This as usual beautiful, delicate craftsmanship from Diptyque, more of a statement piece than a hourglass diffuser - not much of throw when used alone but I tend to burn the candle with it and the two together pack a better punch. Everyone comments and asks "what it is!?" when they come to the house. Don't know whether id repurchase as a diffuser as I find the room sprays far more effective. But a very pretty decorative accessory!

Most beautiful fragrance
I had to buy this after getting a free scented notebook and the smell is divine - I have it in my bedroom and it makes me smile every time I walk in - however with regards to the diffuser element - I already had the vessel so bought the refill for it . I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t smelling the scent until I read that these diffuser vessels can only be refilled 3 times - I decanted it into a normal diffuser pot with reeds and now have a strong amazing smell

My personal favourite
I cannot recommend the Diptyque Hourglass 2.0 34 Boulevard St. Germain Refill enough - it has become my personal favorite! Beautiful
Aesthetically this is very beautiful and makes a stunning piece to display in your home which some diffusers lack however my home is open plan and I'm not sure that this item is suitable for that - maybe in a smaller room it would have more of an effect but for me its lovely, but not entirely practical

To be honest .. Let’s start with the positive’s about this diffuser. It’s Stylish , It Distributes a subtle fragrance. However, if your looking to achieve a more of an intense fragrance throughout your house , room etc In my opinion, I’ve had more of a satisfactory effects from diffusers such as SPACE NK’s Christmas SPICE REED DIFFUSER’S AND CANDLES for a third of a price. Plus OIL DIFFUSER’s such as , NEOM. and THE WHITE COMPANY etc are definitely worth their money in my opinion. Because , not only do their fragrances smell delightful, they are are also good value. Without digressing, Again , this is my personal opinion. And it’s not meant in any adverse way . DYPTIQUE for me , have seem to have lost their quality of fragrance ?.. Their candles used to have great quality. I’ve purchased a few recently and felt that they certainly do not pack the punch of their monetary value . Same as this diffuser , Yes it may look pretty sitting on your table etc , However for the price , I would have expected more in the quality of fragrance. It is a very subtle fragrance , and I mean SUBTLE, to where I have to either hold it under my nose , even having it sitting on my desk doesn’t do much either. I was hoping to write a raving review about this product . But sadly I’m finding very few positive’s to brag about .

New favourite diffuser
I usually go for the fruity Baies scent in candle, room spray and diffuser. As it’s Autumn now I thought I’d try something different. I have to say I absolutely love it. It seems to cut through any other scents I have in the house, eg perfume, incense sticks and oil burners. It really seems to have a heady Parisian aroma. Smells very expensive……I will be repurchasing and not just for the Autumn/Winter months.

So special, unique and safe diffuser
I alway worry about knocking over and spilling a reed diffuser. This hourglass style is so cool, special, and reduces that risk. It is also refillable and look really unique. Great housewarming item, for self or a friend.
