Disappointing/Not as Expected

Purchased as a gift for someone else. Upon opening the box, I noticed a big scratch on the front side. It is smaller than expected since they apparently add the 1/4" length of the bale to the overall length of the pendant. Not sure if I like the satin finish on the back. For the price, it should include the chain that is sold separately that I can not afford to buy since it is extremely over priced.
