Perfect reading glasses
I've always worn oval glasses I'm not a big fan of the big bulky frames or the cat frames so these were a perfect choice. They seem sturdy and work well for when I'm reading they don't annoy behind my ears or my nose and they look nice on my face.

It can be hard to find oval readers that are wide enough and do not have angles or metal bits on the ends that join the arm. The Nicole readers meet my needs of an uncomplicated frame, though 52mm would be better. They feel weightless, never slip down my nose, and resist scratching. The frames are sturdy, but the arm hinges can be hit or miss. My first Nicole purchase in 2011 (blue) have arms so loose, they swing open when I lift them. Eventually one screw fell out, but I reset the screw and am still wearing that pair every day. I also have a pair in black/white that I wear often, and those hinges are also loose. In the tortoise color that I purchased 8 months ago, the hinges are very tight, so tight that the plastic almost squeaks when I open the arms. Since the Nicole style is still available 8+ years after my first purchase, I wish Corinne McCormack would offer more than one frame color, as this warm yellow tortoise is not ideal against my pink skin. I'd also love to see this style with a translucent bottom, so there is a more gentle transition from frame to skin.
