Terrible flaking after you apply

Terribly disappointed with this cream. I usually like Clinique products but this one ended up a loser for me. I didn't notice it initially but after you apply it even if massaging it in the skin for a long time, it leaves all kinds of little flakes on the surface of your skin. This makes it difficult to apply foundation or powder over it. This cream is expensive as all brand names are, and I would not buy it again even if cheaper. I feel I cannot use the entire jar now.

Soothing Facial Cream

Clinique smart clinical repair cream

I’ve been using this product for years and I’m quite impressed with how it feels on the skin. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. The skin feels smoother and more hydrated, and fine lines — especially around the eyes and mouth — appear softer.
