Great Value Homage

The Citizen Series8 890 is a strong, affordable alternative to more expensive integrated sports watches, offering a clear Royal Oak Offshore vibe without the hefty price tag. The band is very comfortable, though I personally prefer traditional lug designs for the added versatility. Build quality is excellent, and the movement is solid and reliable. The biggest drawback is the green dial — while intended to evoke the Japanese skyline, it ends up looking more like a circuit board because of the color choice. I love the color, but the pattern and color combination could be revised. Despite that, it’s a stylish, well-made watch that I would definitely recommend.
