Zebra and Giraffe

I love these eye shades from Chantecaille. They look scary in the case, but on the eyelids, they are more subtle and less glittery. They could be more glittery if you apply with a we brush. It's like a cream/powder formula that can be just a wash of color or built up as you wish. I find that the shade and sweep works best or even just fingers. Everyone, PLEASE include the shades you are reviewing!

Subtle color

I looked for weeks to find a lavender shade that was not cheap or flashy. This is the one. And- it goes on smoothly and evenly. A great purchase

Pricey but great

This eyeshadow is pricey, but is really, really good. I got the Cheetah shade as a gift from someone a few months ago, and fell in love with the formulation and light wash of color. I went back and purchased the Zebra shade. I don't experience fallout with this, but I also apply the Perricone MD "No Makeup" primer every day. I have really hooded eyes, and this doesn't crease.

Very expensive for what it is

I purchased cheetah and rhino after trying in the store. In the store they were beautifully shimmery and luminescent. At home the product is bland at most. There is no shimmer and no sparkle. I’m so disappointed and out $100
