Wonderful kettle but limited capacity

This is a beautiful, high quality stainless kettle. I wanted Chantal because I had 18 years of excellent high-use service from a prior (discontinued) stainless Chantal model and I love the "train whistle" when water boils. Unfortunately, however, this kettle's capacity is only 1.8 quarts, not 2.5 as stated in the online product description. Since I often need to boil water for 3-4 large mugs of tea, this just isn't large enough for my needs. Sadly, I will return.

Awesome Kettle

This kettle is great. I bought it mainly for the color, but has come in handy the few time I needed it.

NOT A GOOD KETTLE

THE ENAMEL GOT BROWN SPOTS AND THE HANDLE GETS TOO HOT AND IT COMES WITH A SILVER GLOVE FOR THE TOP WEIRD

They don't make 'em like they used to!!

Definitely not made as well as my last Chantal classic enamel on steel teakettle. Much lighter and the whistle sounds horrible. If my 25-year-old original Chantal teakettle was not beginning to rust I would have returned this one.
