Rich yet sweet
This scent is absolutely gorgeous and so rich. It has a woodsy yet sweet scent making a perfect scent to wear on a date night or a special occasion. It’s not an overwhelming scent but does last on the skin so just a couple of sprays will last all day. I would love to purchase a full size bottle because this perfume has all my favorite top notes and accords.

Doesn’t last long
This scent is soo beautiful and feels tropical. The only sad thing is that it doesn’t last long and I don’t feel like the price of the full bottle is worth it. Absolutely not, not for a whisper of a smell. It lasts maybe less than 30 min on me.

I received Byredo Bal D'Afrique has a musk smell. It has a strong lemon scent but a good scent. So if u like citrus lemon scent this is great for you. It stood all day all you need is two spritz.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this smells!! It’s got a classic timeless fragrance and lasted the entire day. Hints of warm tones but a versatile scent you can wear day and night. The label is sleek and I got many compliments through the day

I was very intrigued to try this perfume on myself, the notes sound so interesting and unique plus i have heard so many positive reviews about the brand! It smells pleasantly, but after a few minutes it opens way to floral and sweet for my taste and it doesn’t last long I am sure someone will be in love of this fragrance but it’s not my favorite unfortunately

I haven't had too much experience with the original, but I remember it being a nice airy fragrance. After spraying this, you can immediately tell they were going for a more in your face version of the original, which makes sense given this is the absolu version. You get a heavy dose of fruit off the top, which sticks around for a while, but then dries down with the woods and musk coming forward more. This is a pretty linear scent, with great longevity and projection. I can't give this 5 stars though, because I feel it strays too far away from the idea of the original, with the airiness, but that is purely subjective.

This perfume is amazing! It reminds me of YSL Manifesto in the top notes, smells very close to it. I think it because of blackcurrant notes in the top notes and the praline. The dry down is fresh, woody and a little sharp. Love it! And it doesn't smells like Baccarat which I adore but this one is completely different.
