Great quality, boring colors

Very good quality, as always. Love the expandability and all the clever, thoughtful pockets and zips. I WISH the brief came in colors other than navy and black. Very disappointed in that aspect.

This bag is sturdy and

This bag is sturdy and lightweight. It has a variety of zippered compartments to choose from for storing whatever you may want to carry: laptop, legal pad, files, pens, chargers, etc. One drawback is that it tends to lean forward and even fall on its front, especially when not expanded.

Durable, Stylish, and Functional

I’ve been using the Briggs & Riley Medium Expandable Brief for work, and it has been an excellent choice. The ballistic nylon construction feels both durable and professional, while the expandable feature provides extra space on days when I need to carry more. The interior layout is thoughtfully designed, with a padded laptop sleeve, tablet pocket, and multiple compartments that keep my documents and accessories neatly organized. It’s comfortable to carry with the padded strap and leather handles, and it has a sleek, stylish look that fits perfectly in a professional setting. Although it’s a bit heavier than some slimmer briefcases, its functionality and design make it well worth using as an everyday work bag.

Quality Bag for Everyday and Travel

Well constructed bag with thoughtful pockets and compartments. The shoulder strap has sturdy all metal clips and is very comfortable even when the bag is loaded. Carry as much as you need for the day including a 15" laptop and unzip the expansion to add space for travel which can include a change of cloths. Had a Tumi bag prior to the B&R. I like the B&R bag better than the Tumi for almost 1/2 the price.

2nd Bag in 14 Years

This is the second version of this bag I have bought. The first was the larger version in 2012 and is on its way to be repaired so I can keep using it when necessary. However, as my office has gone digital I do not need as large a brief bag. So far, this one is a great replacement. No complaints. B&R is a great product.
