More Bridesmaid than Wedding Guest

I bought this dress to wear to a wedding. Although the fabric is beautiful and the color is stunning, the dress looked like I was a bridesmaid more than a wedding guest. I’m 5’ 4” and it was at my ankles. The fit was TTS otherwise.
