Better Version
The toe box is definitely wider on this version. Wears like a sneaker.

Great style and look
Thsese are very comfortable well made shoes,BUT, they are very heavy. The fit and style are right on,if only they were lighter.

A Big Improvement
I own two pair of the original Randolph loafer/sneaker and like but not love them. The toe box was a little long in those, and the cup sole wasn’t thick enough. Both those issues have now been corrected in the 2.0, which is great. Now, -PLEASE- offer a black sole in all the different leathers and also in the Park Avenue 2.0 sneaker and I’ll buy a few more. Also, the insoles that came with the Randolph had sharper edges than I’m used to, so I swapped them out for a pair of AE insoles that I had bought but not yet used. Not a big deal but just take a look at the new insoles.

So glad I took the chance on these!
Shout to Cam at the Rockefeller location for helping me zero in on the fit! I’ve only worn these twice. They are comfortable, stylishly subdued with the sneaker sole yet versatile enough to wear causally to business casual. The fit is the most important. I have semi wide feet. For example I’m an 8.5E on the 65 last yet on other lasts I’m a 8.5D (Landon boots, Freeport loafers) or 9D (Higgins Mill, Steen loafers). When it comes to the new Randolph loafers such as these or the bit loafers or Liverpool Chelsea boots I’m a 9E yet on the OG Randolph I’m an 8.5E. I hope this puts more context in finding the best fit for yourself. There were no noticeable quality issues although your mileage will very.

Awesome new design
Love the new design. I have several of the original pairs but the new design looks much better and the sole is higher quality.
