Broke both times I used on direct 2h flights

Would not purchase. Bought at the suggestion of a friend who said the quality was better than Rimowa. The first time I used the bag I flew directly to Mexico from LAX. The wheel broke off (!) and I had to literally tip the drivers and staff at the resorts $100s in total to carry a checked bag that was 47lbs up and down cobblestone stairs and streets in remote parts of Mexico. I called and the owners literally fought with me (!) tried to tell me their customer service was the same as Mercedes when I asked for the bag to be exchanged and not “repaired” and offered to send back a wheel and a shipping label. I’m the founder of a company, my time is billable, the hours I spent on this and then money I spent tipping the staff and their reply was “they would send me an extra wheel”. So the second time i use the bag, I fly directly to Aspen. Again a 3 hour flight. The latch on the bag breaks. Their reply was the same. For a brand new $1,000 bag, to tell me this is the quality of manufacturing really speaks wonders to the lack of attention to detail in design and poor craftsmanship. Stick with the other brands at this price point. Do yourself a favor. I am a luxury buyer. I am appalled by the quality and customer service or lack thereof. Most especially for the price point, $300 bags would be comparable or better than the quality and customer service and also offer lifetime repairs. I don’t see how Aleon differentiates in any way. I withheld after the first incident from posting a review, but the second incident is unacceptable and I really must say something so other buyers are aware.
