I purchased a Kluft Camellia Luxury Firm Cal King from Bloomingdale’s for about $12,000. The mattress was excellent out of the gate, but by week 2 it developed noticeable uneven support/“valley” feeling in my sleep zone. I tried doing everything right (gave it time, rotated it), and when it didn’t improve I contacted Bloomingdale’s around week 5. Here’s the part buyers need to know: Bloomingdale’s requires an “independent inspection,” but the inspector’s job is basically to take a string-test photo and leave. They are not allowed to sit on the bed, lie down, apply pressure tests, or include the customer’s description of the problem in the report. In other words, the inspection cannot evaluate the real-world issue: support failure you can feel but won’t show up as a massive visible crater. The string test showed ~0.5” dip in two areas, and that was enough for Bloomingdale’s to deny any exchange/return as “no manufacturing defect.” Then they offered their “1-year comfort guarantee,” which conveniently means you can pay a 15% reselection fee (on a $12,000 mattress) plus a new delivery fee to escape the problem. So: you pay luxury money, the mattress degrades in weeks, and the only path forward is paying thousands more because the process is set up to deny anything short of a dramatic 1.5”+ visible sinkhole. If you’re considering Kluft at Bloomingdale’s, understand that you may be buying a mattress with very little real protection if it starts failing early. I regret this purchase and would not do it again.

Kluft Camellia luxury firm mattress
After about two months of sleeping on the Kluft Signature Camellia luxury firm mattress, my fiancé and I are both extremely happy with it. The firmness level is exactly what we were looking for, firm and supportive without feeling stiff. The mattress itself is so beautiful you can tell it was made with care and high quality materials. The detailing on the mattress is gorgeous it’s a shame we have to cover it up with sheets. The one difference I noticed from this mattress and my old mattress is the minimal motion transfer. There’s not more waking each other up at night because of tossing and turning. The mattress height is 13.5” which was a lot higher than I expected. Even after two months of nightly use the mattress feels just as supportive as it did day one, no sagging in any spots. If you want a high quality luxury mattress this mattress is worth the investment.

So comfortable, especially if you suffer from back
I have been test driving this lovely mattress for about a week now with great results. I have chronic back pain and this mattress is so comfortable. It is firm but not to firm. Cooling at night. Pillow top luxury.
