What It Does

The selector switch on the KBGV Select allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe. The brewing speed and hotplate temperature adjust according to your choice, brewing either amount to the golden cup standard. The brew basket automatically stops the flow of coffee when removing the carafe. All glass carafe brewers feature a hotplate with an independent heating element that holds your coffee at the perfect temperature.

Want great coffee ? Buy this !

First let’s just say that ALL… the great coffee comments are absolutely true ! We’ve had for a few weeks so far & amazing cup every time ~ so much so that I could barely drink the coffee at our cottage and had to order a 2nd for there ~even though it took me 6 months wanting one to order the 1st :-/ ( it’s that good ). I purchased the juniper and it’s absolutely beautiful & the size is good for us because I don’t have cabinets above my coffee bar , as you do need to lift tops off ect.. I was scared after reading all the ‘steps ‘ people have mentioned in reviews that was a pain to set up & i’m not the kind of person who wants to work hard to get coffee in the morning ~ well …NOTHING to worry over on that one , and is done in less than 15 seconds!! lol The only reason I took 1* off , is due to very lightweight plastic used for tops . They could have done better on the nice machine by even adding texture or ANYTHING ~ my husband says is like cheap toy plastic & it is … that’s sad but when you taste the coffee you’ll get over it ~ but why ??!!!

Great machine!

I switched from using k cups to brewing, and it’s my first time using a MM. I highly recommend grinding your own beans since it gives you a much more flavorful cup of coffee. It took me about 3 brews to find the best tasting coffee using dark roast beans. I’ll be experimenting with medium roast next since I like to try different tastes. Overall, I highly recommend the MM for its ease of use and for the best tasting coffee I’ve had in a long time.
