Typical blue fragrance
In my opinion, this is pretty similar to just about any other blue, aquatic scent. They don't suit me at all and always seem to kind of "sting" my senses on the backend. I had a vial from the sampler box, and figured I'd give it a try since it's summer and maybe I'd enjoy it more during the warm weather. It's certainly less overpowering than other blue fragrances, so that's a minor plus. Overall though, nothing stands out about it or sets it apart from the others. It's not for me, but also not completely off-putting.

It’s perfect!
It is a perfect sent for spring and summer. It had that open water fresh scent smell. It isn’t too powerful and doesn’t overwhelm you. It last all day and it pleasant to wear and smell throughout the day.

Clean and Simple!

My 2nd Favorite Maison Margiela Fragrance
When I first researched the Maison Margiela line, I thought for sure Beach Days would be the one for me. Even thought I read countless reviews & descriptions online, I decided to purchase the 10 piece sample set. I am so glad I did that because Lazy Sunday Morning became my #1 & Sailing Day came in at a close 2nd place. I would describe the scent as clean, fresh & airy. I live in a city with an ocean to the west & several bays. This fragrance evokes a day near the water with the crisp, salty, marine air blowing through your hair. I feel that Sailing Day is more feminine. The individual Maison Margiela fragrances stimulate a personal memory for each customer, which feels familiar & soothing. This had good staying power on my skin. I, too, recommend not rubbing the scent because it changes the fragrance & affects the longevity. Sailing Day lasts a good 6+ hours. This scent is 3rd in my rotation of summer fragrances; #1 Beach by Bobbi Brown, #2 Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela.

Amazing!!!
My most favorite perfume, always get compliments when wearing. Lasts really long, and great packaging. Is a summer scent for sure, and the biggest size lasts me years.

Great fragrance but could be a little stronger.
I really like this scent as it reminds me of hot summer days by the seaside. I purchased this when I was relatively new to fragrance, in person at a store. The aquatic note is done very well, with a hint of saltiness and freshness. This is easy to throw on during the warm weather, and a great daytime fragrance. I’m not sure if it is specifically my skin, but for me it projects like crazy but only lasts around 3-4 hours.

Fresh and clean
One of my favorite perfumes, especially for the summer. If you like to smell like salt and marine water, this is the perfume for you. Has a little musk at the end but smells fresh and lasts all day
