Sleeves are small

I think this dress runs a little small. I have a larger chest and arms and have to wear a minimizer bra to prevent button pulling. I also feel the sleeves are small and tight. I sprayed the sleeves with water and put the dress on to try to stretch them out a bit which sort of worked but if I move the sleeves ride up and are too small again.

Why the linen has a lightweight feel.

Spring collections lean into highly lightweight, looser weaves. When these lighter linens undergo the factory pre-washing and sanforization processes to give them a casual, soft feel, they shrink up more vertically, resulting in a physically shorter total back length out of the box. I purchased also the exact same style from Fall collection. The material Resort wear is designed for travel, winter getaways, and transitional climates. Ralph Lauren historically cuts resort linen dresses with more coverage—favoring elongated midi, maxi, or sweeping handkerchief lines to withstand the fluctuating breezy climates of late autumn and coastal winter destinations. These information helped to understand the difference and I learned when to buy it if I want the garment to be a better quality.

Amazing dress

Excellent quality linen, soft and very light but not see-through. The stitching is impeccable and the dress drapes beautifully. The navy blue is a deep colour and very elegant. Highly recommend this dress. Unfortunately, it was too similar to address. I already have in my closet or I would’ve kept it.

Fit

The dress when cinced does not lay nicely over my hips. Im 5'4' and have a 29' waist. The way it was designed , the pockets and iccentuates my hips rather than lay nicely over my curves.

Not for me

The fabric and color were wonderful. But on me, on my particular body, it looked quite frumpy. The skirt part was quite large so unfortunately I will be returning it.
