Nice, but overpriced

Like everything I've tried from this brand this is way overpriced. Only worth it if you're loaded. Got this in the advent calendar and it is definitely a decent product. Lightweight and sinks in nicely. I use this a couple of times week and it does a decent job at calming down redness and breakouts over night. It is very gentle, I've had no negative reactions to it. But the hefty price is not at all justifiable to me.

Absolutely not worth the price tag

I received two deluxe samples of this so I had 15ml to try - absolutely enough to give it a good go. Whilst my skin didn’t react to it, it did absolutely nothing for my skin! I’ve been using skin rocks retinol for a while and saw great results so will absolutely be going back to that!

Excellent serum

I received a small tube of this as a sample and my husband and I have been trying it whilst on holiday in Spain. Love the richness of it and the fact it sinks in very easily without leaving any residue. Definitely keen on this bit it’s a bit pricey for me unfortunately.

Pricey

It is a really lovely serum. Sinks in to the skin well and has a lovely feel to it. Having no issues woth the retinol thay is in the serum which has not always been the case. However it is very expensive. Had this not been part of the advent calendar I wouldn't buy or repurchase it. There are cheaper products with similar results available.

Pricey

Received the Augustinus Bader retinol serum in the Space NK advent calendar. It’s a lovely serum, sinks in well and hasn’t given me any peeling areas. I use it every other night. I’ve not noticed a massive difference to my skin, but I do regularly use retinol products. I think there Ee products out there that give the same effect at a much smaller price tag.

Glowing

I don’t really want to like this because of the price tag.I had a couple of small tube samples to try and liked but wasn’t sure if that was enough for a true test of the product.I was unsure whether to purchase the full size but when I saw it at a decent discount I thought would buy so could give it a try over a longer period.Unfortunately I really like it.There is something in it I’m not sure what that really brighten my face and gives it a lovely glow.

Received a faulty product :(

Got a bottle of this in the 2025 advent calendar and was super excited as AB is out of my price range, and I regularly use retinol. However, the bottle is either terribly designed or I got a faulty version, as I can barely get the product out. I’ve tried tapping, bashing, shaking, storing upside down etc. For a £150 product, I was expecting better. Even if mine is atypical, there should be better quality control! The little product I have managed to get out is fine - non scented, non irritating, and spreads decently well, but I don’t think there’s any way £150 is justifiable.
