Our expert on-site tailors provide precise, personalized alterations—from hemming denim to fitting gowns and refining suiting. Every piece is handled with exceptional craftsmanship to ensure a flawless fit, every time. We offer alterations on items purchased on Bloomingdales.com or in Bloomingdale’s stores.​

Our broad range of alterations are available for a fee based on the complexity of the work required and the construction and fabrication of the original garment. We offer complimentary basic alterations on non-discounted tailored merchandise purchased at Bloomingdale’s.

Including:

• Basic unfinished hems (non-denim, non-specialty fabric)​
• Sleeve shortening or lengthening (non-vented sleeves)​
• Shortening, lowering, or raising basic collars​
• Center, back, and side seam adjustments (non-vented)​

Please note the following policies and exclusions:​

• Previously worn items must be dry cleaned prior to alterations.​
• At this time, we are unable to service items purchased outside of Bloomingdale’s.​​
• Re-do alterations must be performed within 30 days of original alteration.​​
• Prior purchases are eligible for alterations within one year from date of purchase with proof of purchase.​
