These towels are so soft and durable. They are also very thin. I use one every day to dry my hair and wrap my head after my shower. I had a set of two that I used for more then 4 years! I only replaced them because I wanted white instead of gray. I have medium long hair and after wrapping with this waffle texture for a few minutes it is just damp.

Too delicate
I purchased this looking for a lightweight, absorbent, soft towel. I had no expectation that it would be like an ordinary terrycloth towel. However, it is as delicate as a thin cashmere scarf - it catches on everything: fingernails, towel hooks, velcro, bra hooks, etc. It's almost unusable.

These towels are very lightweight and are not for everyone. My husband loves them as they don’t produce as much fuzz as other towels. The added bonus is that they are made in Japan and I love Japanese innovative products like these towels
