Nice and sharp

Nice knives and super sharp. The knives do take some extra care. I wash will dawn and warm water dry immediately but I already see a dark spot on the chef knife.

Gift

Purchased this set a birthday gift for our daughter who was turning 27. I'm a Wusthof Classic fan, probably have or have owned over 30 in my lifetime. (I was a professional chef for 15 years) My daughter liked the way the Classic Ikon fit her hand, she loves them, even returned my Classic bread knife when she got these Ikons. Wusthof Delivers quality and value every time. A well received and valued gift.

Best Knives I’ve Ever Bought

These knives are great!! For the first time I don’t have to push to cut, the knife does all the work. Well worth spending a little extra. I also love the handles on these, very comfortable.

High rating for warranty replacement

This set was part of a warranty replacement for five Ikon Classic knives I purchased in 2007, all of which had cracked and/or broken handles. I give five stars since Wüsthov stood by their warranty. The knives are quite useable as well. I wish they stayed sharper a little longer.
