Appalling customer service

This glass arrived without its original box or any box. After much complaining to customer service. A supervisor made THE ONLY SOLUTION AVAILABLE! Reship the order (glass) once received return the first received glass. I agreed to these terms with the understanding that the very valuable crystal glass would be shipped in its original box. The glass was once again wrapped in bubble wrap and thrown into a huge box as if it were a dollar store item. There was no original box and not even a Bloomingdale’s white gift box. The supervisor understood the customers, me, reason for wanting the box and gave his ultimate effort of great customer care. However, the store/warehouse employee who was not properly trained to understand the value of a $200 crystal glass from a $2 glass gave it and the customer the same attention. I am extremely disappointed in Bloomingdale’s and the lack of interest in the customer especially when an attempt to correct an error was in process. Because of your lack of interest in the customer you have destroyed the joy and special gift that this glass represented. Not having time to replace it, I am forced to give the gift with an explanation of how Bloomingdale’s dropped the ball.
