The dress material is stretchy so it doesn’t hold its shape. You need to buy a size that really hugs your body otherwise it looks like a bag. I usually wear 4/6 so I got the medium and it was more like an 8/10. Also the sleeves were too long and the peephole looked awkward.
A little black dress with great flexibility!
This is a very flexible little black dress, the marabou trimmings making it quite festive. I must confess i am no longer 18 therefore i no longer dress that short. However like with some of my other dresses, i wear this one like a tunic i.e. over a medium-thin fabric black skirt which makes the whole ensemble rather chic - It sizes standardly - L for a 12-14 was perfect. One tiny important detail: the marabou at the bottom of the dress is naturally fixed at the dress itself but not completely closed as a circle, allowing a little expansion of the dress … which is perfect if you wear a skirt under.One simple brooch at the top of the neck line keeps it sober and elegant - No need of chains which with the opening of the neck line would turn this dress into something quite common, when in fact it can be kept simple and elegant.
