too long for 5'5"

5 stars -loved the dress, loved the material, and the quality, but 4 stars because sadly I am returning it. I am just shy of 5'5" 127lbs. athletic (thin no curves) (55yo) I bought a small. It fits well but is a teeny bit too long. I could get it hemmed an inch or so but the waist line which is part of the design I like, hits a little too low below my natural waist. Debated keeping it but just not worth it.

Nice fit and color

This is a staple to dress up or down. Ordered size medium as I typically wear size 8. I'm 5'8" and have difficulty finding dresses at a flattering length. This length is perfect. Fabric is a bit thinner than I expected but acceptable. Looks best with a smoothing undergarment. Glad it was available in vine color - I don't need another black dress.
